The purpose of the Vancouver Island Hockey League is to foster, improve, and perpetuate the game of amateur hockey on Vancouver Island; to secure the enforcement of the rules of the game as adopted by BC Hockey, Hockey Canada, and Vancouver Island Amateur Hockey Association; to supervise and carry out the competitive program for the championship of Vancouver Island; and to co-ordinate the mutual interest of member associations.
